Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. If you contact us, we receive the contents of your message and use them to respond.
Automatically Collected Data
Routine hosting logs may include an IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. We review this information in aggregate to maintain the service and understand page use. Cookies or similar tools may be used for basic analytics and, when applicable, advertising measurement.
How Limited Data Is Used
We use this limited data to operate the site, address technical issues, measure traffic, and improve content. We do not sell a visitor list or create individual visitor profiles.
External Links and Services
Links may lead to records custodians such as the Potter County Clerk, Potter-Randall Appraisal District, Texas agencies, libraries, archives, and third-party search tools. Those services apply their own privacy policies to information you submit. The same is true of sponsored results provided by a third party.
Parties That May Process Data
Hosting and support providers process server logs on our behalf. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatically collected information described above. We disclose information when valid legal process requires disclosure, and otherwise do not share it.
Data Safeguards
The site uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the purposes described here. Because the site has no user accounts, it does not hold a visitor password or account profile.
Visitors Under 18
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us so it can be deleted.
Your Texas Privacy Choices
The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, effective July 1, 2024, provides Texas residents with rights to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out in the circumstances the law covers. A covered controller generally has 45 days to answer an authenticated request and may take one additional 45-day extension. Because we retain very little information, a request usually involves checking the contact mailbox and available server logs. Use the Contact page to make a request. Government records held by Texas, Potter County, Randall County, or Amarillo custodians are outside our control; direct a removal or correction request to the responsible office.
Changes to This Policy
We will post revisions to this policy here. Continued use after a revision means you accept the updated policy.
